◎简　　介　

　　在全美范围内出现了一种奇怪的病毒，只要人类感染上这种病毒就会变成僵尸。随后僵尸就变成了病毒的携带者，继续肆虐地感染着不知真相的人类。当人们发现真相时，为时已晚，全美只有几个人还是幸存者，到处都是要吞噬人类的僵尸。这些幸存者想穿越美国大陆，走到港口，他们希望在那里能有船只载他们离开美国，远离僵尸。

　　幸存者中有一个人名叫哥伦布，他是一个胆小如鼠的人，但是他并不害怕僵尸，对于亲手杀掉他们也不胆颤，不过他不想惹事；他的朋友塔拉哈西，是一个暴力狂，每天都要举着AK杀僵尸，他的目标就是要亲手杀掉所有的僵尸。在逃亡的路途中，他们遇见了两个女人威其托和小岩石。她们也是幸存者，也要去港口逃命。一路上他们分享着活命的技巧、建立起了"生死友情"。
